From vision to reality · God's faithfulness through the years
Follow the story of Acts Bible Church from ordination at Cornerstone to a thriving community in Kempton Park. Every step of this journey has been marked by God's faithfulness and the commitment of His people.
Lusani Masindi was ordained as a pastor at Cornerstone Church in Johannesburg. This marked the beginning of a journey that would eventually lead to the planting of Acts Bible Church. Cornerstone's emphasis on plurality of eldership and church-planting culture shaped the vision for what was to come.
A bittersweet moment as Cornerstone Church prayed for and commissioned the team to plant Acts Bible Church. With the blessing and support of our mother church, we were sent out to make disciples in Kempton Park.
The first Sunday service of Acts Bible Church! A day we'll never forget—filled with excitement, nervousness, and overwhelming gratitude to God. What started as a vision became a reality as we gathered together for the first time as ABC.
Months into our journey, God continues to build His church. Through teaching, fellowship, and worship, we're seeing lives transformed and a community taking root. Every Sunday is a reminder that God is faithful to complete what He started.
Celebrating God's faithfulness through our first year! We gathered for a special Heritage Day celebration, reflecting on our roots and God's provision. Baptisms, new members, children's laughter, and deepening community—this is what church is all about. We're grateful for the heritage of faith we're building together.
A milestone moment as we ordained Rotondwa Radzilani and Thingahangwi Mulovhedzi as elders at Acts Bible Church. This ordination fulfills our commitment to biblical church government through plurality of eldership—multiple shepherds working together to lead, teach, and care for God's flock. What a joy to see God raising up faithful men to serve His church!
Now in our second year, we're amazed at what God has done. More families, more baptisms, more testimonies of transformation. We're not just a church—we're a family pursuing Christ together. The journey continues, and we're excited about what God has in store!
